To reduce the traffic congestion within Colombo, the National Transport Board has taken initiative to introduce ‘Park and Ride’ sites on the outskirts of the city. Persons entering Colombo in their own private vehicles can now park at these special allocated Park and Ride sites and use public transportation to enter the city.
