Electronic Ticketing System for CityLiner Service

How to Use the Card

The Integrated-Circuit Card (IC Card) is loaded with a daily, weekly or a monthly pass based on the subscription. This card is a reusable card.
The passenger needs to touch the card on the Reader to validate the ticket when he gets into the bus.
The Card reader will read the ticket information in the card and validate it.
If the pass is valid the reader will acknowledge it with a welcome message and a sound indicating a valid pass.
If the pass is invalid or expired an alarm will ring with a warning message.

Purchase of Electronic Tickets

Any user can buy an electronic ticket from the CityLiner head office, at one of its outlets or at any authorized dealer.
When you purchased a ticket for the first time it is flagged as a “New Ticket”.
When a new ticket is used for the first time the reader will prompt the user to activate the ticket.
Once the ticket is activated it can be used without any additional process.
Optionally users can register their details in the card by making the Ticket available at NTC Cityliner offices.

The card needs to be reloaded once its usage period is expired.
This is done at any Cityliner office and/or any authorized sales outlet initially.
